My 05x is 2 days past the 6 month warranty. Today at Pismo at the drags I lost power to my tach and to my fan. The drag area was super choppy and would beat you to death every pass. Anyway taking it easy heading back to the truck the tach started working again like it never had a problem at all. It was like 62 degreas over there so i thought maybe the bike was not getting hot enough for the fan. I got home where it was a blistering 104 let the bike idal for ten minutes or so no fan ever kicked on.. Give me some quick basic things to check out becouse this is about to drive me crazy. See i told my wife i needed 3 bikes. Sent the motor back to mrhp on monday, left me with 2, no fan, now down to one. HELP[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

 

i had the same prob with my tach but it was always after i washed it . it wouldnt work at all then it would stick, but after a 10 minutes or so it would work just fine.
