Sure..... Will do
I am suppose to get my rears in about a week.
I will be sure to take some snap shots and try to up load them to ya. I will let you know how well they bolted up to the stock hardware.
I have an 04 so Black was my color of choice. But we will see what we see.
Should be interesting.... Just some thing different than the plain old stock look.

ILivSD,
The fit & finish is quite good on the Laker plastics. I had the Yellow Plastics on my DS this weekend and it lines up perfect. I found it a lot easier to remove the rear plastic for one reason over stock as well. Bombardier on their factory plastic included an extension of the tool kit holder made for holding your user manual. No one I know of ever carries the users manual, nor does anyone read it while out at the dunes or on the trail - Laker's plastic didn't include this which made getting access to the rear two bolts on the plastic much easier.
As far as matching colors, shine etc. who knows. If you keep your original tank cover and buy new plastic from either of our options (Bombardier, Laker) it will look pretty dull. My IMS tank wont be replaced if I buy new plastic (well into the future) so I would probably be looking for something to clean it up.

I don't know ...225.00 is a bit of green to pay for a Tank. Now if I was doing some serious Baja runs ... well maybe ???
I just don't run out of gas all that often. I think that would be a hard one to justify ?
I think you would be better off going with a carbon fiber tank shield.
I am realy looking fordward to the new rear fenders... They should be on the way...
But sounds like they are really worth it ?
Any one got photos on the bike yet ?
BlackHawk what color did you get ? the Yellow ?

I cant believe this is what they have come up with for an "aftermarket look" Personally I dont think they look half as good as my shaved fenders, They must have the most vanilla guy drawing there sketches. These dont look that much different at all and the first thing I would want to do them is shave them into a better shape. WEAK

well right now it is better than nothing! I agree they could have done somthing a bit more wild with them, but you have to be conservative enough to sell them. I think this might open up the market a bit, especially once they start selling, and then maybe maier/fullbore or other might catch wind and get some interest, so we have more designs to choose from.
