Default Ace fab problem

Just a little warning about the ace swingarm. I have a problem with the carrier housing. Be sure to put some anti seize or grease on the outside of the carrier before you install it. Mine rusted on the inside and locked the carrier hard enough that I couldnt adjust the chain. It took me an hour and a half to free it up enough to adjust the chain. Other than that Im really pleased with the swing arm. I have pounded it hard in the whoops, jumped it with zero problems. Im thinking about painting the inside of the housing with rustoleum and using anti-seize on the carrier itself. Im going to give Chris a heads up on this maybe he can come up with somthing better.

Thanks for the heads up. But, I would think of it just as good common sense to put a dab of grease on the bearing carrier before you install it into any swingarm. Ace done a fine job for me...

Stocker says to install in a dry bore.Or the chain will not stay tight

I did in fact put a little grease around the carrier. when installed it. evidentaly not enough . I was worried that to much would make it not hold the chain tension.

Scatter, I keep trying to tell you to loosen those allen screws BEFORE trying to adjust that chain of yours!!!! LOL!!! After we talked on the phone the other night I went out to check mine and the carrier is free as can be...
