OK BRP, you opened the can of worms with the Outlander 800. Now do us a favor and offer this motor in a sport chassis that is lighter than the DS and KFX 700.

What's everyone's thoughts on this?

I would also like to see BRP come out with their own version of the Rhino and put this powerplant in it.

Might be a tall order to come in at the weight you all want, but a 800 twin sport quad would sell. Especially if they mate it to a chain drive, maybe even a manual clutch/gearbox.

As their press release states, they will have 800's in the Baja 1000 race.

I would look to see what is done to them for that race.

Perhaps with certian mods, a completely different quad would not be needed.

The Outlander racing Vegas to Reno right now and the Baja 1000 has a DS650 front end with no 4 wheel drive. Very far from stock!

This is what keeps me up at night, even if they used only 1 cylinder instead of two?

I due not want to think about it because it will come out just after I buy a Polaris Outlaw.

they could certainly take over the GNCC where the KFX700 has had their success. It would be heavier than I'd like, but I would buy one if they built it.
