wont cold start

I have a 2000 bombardier and it has a very hard time cold starting i have been push starting after the engine warms up it starts very easily can any one help?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

I second the weak battery. If my battery was down a little bit, it would crank and crank. With a full charge, it would hardly make 2 revolutions before firing. The valve check couldn't hurt at all either.

all of the above,
you definitely need to keep the valves in check as with any 4-stroke because the valve gap decreases over time until ultimately one or more valves are not fully closing
and again true on the pilot, I upped my '01 pilot jet to a 45 from the 40 it came with and tweeked the idle mixture screw to boot.
a bomb, and alot of other quads too, cannot run with a dead battery cause the stator needs juice to excite the field coil, and a poor battery makes for poor running so if its old and doesn't hold charge it can be a problem.
