Default Oil Pressure Switch

OK, so I read through all the posts about the oil pressure switch and saw that I could possibly replace it with a switch for a Chevy 350 from a local auto parts store. I could not tell what was agreed apon from the posts, and some of the posts were pretty old so I am wondering if anyone can relay some experiences with these Chevy 350 switches. My local bike shops do not have any OEM in stock, and I would like to be able to pick up a new one today. Do they work, and are there any problems? Will they go out as easily as the OEM? Does anyone have a part #?

Seal it in or see if your dealer can get a boot, this should solve the problem.

Someone on this forum or another ran a oil pressure guage off of his just as kind of a back up. When mine went out and the oil light went on I was pretty sure it was just the sensor but didn't want to chance riding.
