That it would!!

If you really want to get technical about it, do the Hp & torque numbers, gear ratios to tires, traction, ect. Put them in a sliding scale and then see who is "supposed" to win. Me....I will just go ride and race someone if i want to and if I win I will smile and move on. But I am slow and fat so I dont smile much

I know the feeling.. my bike is heavier than a stocker, and I'm 280lbs.. after all the work on my bike I had to port it before it would start to pull away from a stocker with a normal sized rider on it. Feels good when you start to see your making up for all the weight.

I know wieght is a factor because I've tested it dozens of times... race someone on another V... switch bikes and race again. I would get beat both times, on my bike and on theirs... the riders were in general 80 to 100 pounds lighter.

If you really want to make it fair then figure a average size pilot on each bike, say 175lbs & see where the #'s stack up. Bikes don't pilot themselves you know.

What does all this mean? Nothing, racing on the track, the hill is where you win or lose. Key board racing
doesn't count for anything.

depends on the race, with lighter weight comes compromised durability, the DS is built to last an extremely long time on the stock piston and win endurance races, which is why you will never in your life see a YFZ or a TRX in the Paris to Dakar rally, much less win it every year, your power to weight figures don't mean **** there. not to mention comfort, the new 450's are the most uncomfortable quads ever built, this is not a slam just facts, the DS is made for comfort and range.

Bottom line is all the quads have their own perfect place and comparing them is futile, waste of time, and useless nonsense.
