Im running so much gas though this engine, Its going through it like alky. Runs nice and cool too. But Im gonna test around here for a while. I want to run it in the stock bore class mlk weekend once shes finally done on a major diet. In that class ill need to run gas. Hopefully an oxygenated fuel will be allowed.

I'm sure you can run the oxygenated fuel in the stock bore class. In the builder class they supply the fuel which is VP12 I think.

Ds mike and Kyle went out in the field and tried all different kind of cam and timing and compression combos on this motor till they saw a increase in the field literally. I am going to dyno my bike next to bigdaddys hpr 730 and we are going to try different pipes and combos here real soon, So ill have some #s soon.
Thats cool, I was mainly just stating mine is a very mild trail setup making more than most of the RWR stage 3s I have seen posted. The main differences in mine and the stage3 setups is like I said, mine still has the stock pipe, and runs the airbox, and mild trail cams vs race cams per RWR.
Are you still running the drag pipe? Either way your is doing pretty dang good. I just ordered a HPR ugly stick for mine today. Hopefully I can have some numbers on the gains from end cap to drag pipe. I know the thing wants to breathe more.

Justin your bike will love the HPR drag pipe for sure! You will be looking for another gear to shift to!

Yes still running the drag pipe but going to test a in frame drag pipe I made (one off) and see how she does against the ugly stik. Might not do better but just to see the curve.
Now ya maken drag pipes???? The price of the front end just doubled LOL j/k Bringing the oem down to Or. this weekend for the new front end and the carbon axle fitting so get yo check book ready LOL sniiiiiiiiiiiiif hook that hose to my helmet please Mario THEY would not understand!!!!!!

It makes gobs of torque so even for the trails and mtns i have been running 17/37. I figure the taller the gear it will pull the better. Its going to be making a change this winter. 18/35 gearing, turning 21.5"tall slicks w/drag pipe, and a hefty shot of gas should move it on down the asphalt.

Justin don't believe everything you read on the RWR stage 3's. I had one that dynoed 63.4hp, 4 years ago. This was the old style heavy 11.5 piston,my head work and valves,TM 45 and the junk, off the self (cough, cough) A1A2 cams and it did have the old style RWR pipe too. There is all new RWR products now. New lighter pistons with different compressions. The new inframe drag pipe end. Also the TM48 has come into the game.

I have dynoed a stage 2+ ,14to1,my head work with one size over valves and porting, a drag pipe, RWR box, lectron 48 and using the A1 A2 made right at 70hp. It did this under 1.75 seconds on the dyno.

The RWR's motors have gotting some bad press in the past because of motors that were not tuned up to spec. by the owners.

Pami has 2 kinds of kits. One that the jug is a complete one pieace casting and one that is a Hy-Tech Alum sleave that is niciled using the stock cylinder. Both are relieabel and powerful.

I've been hijacked! Ahhhh! Just kidding, neat info is always welcome.

RWR and HPR are good people, good to know.

From the sounds of it, 55-65 horses is what I am looking at with a piston, cam, carb, and ported intake. Pretty nice.

I was looking at the HR2's with the spring kit. This sounds like the best bang for the buck along with a piston.

Should I do cams and a piston and a carb later? Does the carb and intake make a bigger difference before or after the cams and piston? That is sounding like a good proposition to me.

Thanks!
Ben

Whats the difference in the stage 2 and 3? I always assumed it was oversized valves. I always considered mine a milder version of what a stage 3 should be. Developments in power in the ds' in the last couple of years have been great. Just look at Choosetoloose04's bike hows 59rwhp on an unmolested engine. Valve cover has never been off!
Just carb, ported intake, and drag pipe.

Oh Justin, Mine is just a one in a million.....built on a Monday......dont see too many "stock" engines that will rev to 9000rpms without floating the valves,

Bunian, you dont need to forget the port work on the head to get the "goods" out of the cams, piston and carb,

Roughly how much does the PAMI Hy-Tech Alum Sleeve cylinder cost and what is the exact bore? Do they cases need to be bored?

Are MRHP prices going up? There 730cc jug & piston is $1700 now!!!!
