Default Clash of the Titans 2006!!!!!!

I don't know how serious the money racing will be after the classes, but I'll wager $5 or $10 here or there on certain races. I just hope it don't get to the point where people get aggravated and p*ssed off at each other over betting $$ after the classes are run.

I should have pic's of the trophies in a week or so...I got a few pic's now but they are just models the woman through together to give us a idea of what she could do. The King Of The Hill trophy is awesome to say the least.....hell all the trophies are bigger then the FSW trophies.

Did you get at least a small one for the utility class.

As far as money races, I thought you were reffering to entrance fee's devided up over the top three place finshs or something like that. You were talking about friendly side bets. Thats cool, I misunderstood.

I will have both my Outy 800 and the Twin Peaks 800 with me. I am thinking of puting them both in the utility class and running the Twin Peaks in both the Utility class and the 4 stroke stock chassis class.

Have you done anything to that outy yet or is it still stock? I'm gonna be ready for that outy I think, but, I want to race that twin peaks for fun I want to see how much all that motor work will beat me by. Lookin forward to it

The Outy has a HMF slip on pipe. Looks better and sounds better. The Hp gain was only about 4 hp on the dyno. However for what its worth it is about 1hp short of the Twin peaks 800 motor. It does however weigh abourt 40 pounds more as well. So in a race there is about 3 quad lengths behind the twin peaks in about 200 yards. We have never raced for anthing more than bragging rights at the dunes, there is no tree, no time slips and more important no specific distance. There is some terrain opsticals that limit the draggs to about 300 yards max, depending on how far back we start away from that terain obstical. The Outy does hold its own against most sport quads as long as they are close to stock.

Well, I guess we'll see but it sounds like your outy and my prairie are pretty close. I've been runing a 10 shot but will be running a 25 shot of nitrous for the clash. Win or lose I'm looking forward to a good time.

You will likely take the Outy with the NOS. I am getting the Peaks back this week, hoping for some warm weather this weekend to test the 20 shot on it. The ten was noticable but nothing like I had hoped. Is there a local place to get our tanks refilled down there in LA.

Yea, I know what you mean. I liked the 10 shot but it wasn't what I thought it would be. I have no clue if there is a place to get nitrous filled down there. Better have your bottle topped off and if you have it bring a spare, wish I had one.

We switched to an automotive sized tank 15lbs with a guage as well as swaping it over to the 20 shot. I think if I come with a full tank I should be ok. I was thinking just in case it would be nice to know there was a place I could get a refill if needed. On mine the 10 shot was exactly 10 HP. I am in hopes that the 20 shot is good for 20 extra pony's. My motor is still only 11-1 copresion up from 9-1 stock heads. I am told since its not a real high compresion motor the 20 shot is still playing it real safe. We were thinking we would go with the 20 and if that works as well as I hope then we might go on up to a larger set of carbs and a 30 shot later down the road.
