I smell roses!
Well, being from Arkansas, UT was a hated rival back in the day but always a good and well respected program. Then spending the last 13 years here in SoCal and having the Trojans, Bruins, and Lakers shoved down our throats I was very much anticipating this game, but after the PS/FSU game and the Georgia game I knew there was no way it could live up to the hype. Thanks Vince Young for giving me a very enjoyable evening.
All we kept hearing out here is how USC was going for an unprecedented third championship in a row. Seems to me that I recall LSU winning the National Championship two years ago. Gotta love the local media.
Congrats to the Horns.
Now if the Razorbacks can climb back into National prominence...

In the 1st quarter, Texas had the ball and the offensive line broke down leaving Young to fend for himself. No problem.
There he was with 2 or 3 guys trying to tackle him and hanging on to him and he stood, poised, and threw the ball for a completion. My party went nuts! That guy is amazing.
