Don't really like to ride with nerfs, but been thinking about putting some on the DS.

Anyone using TUSK brand nerfs? I think it is Rocky Mountian's house brand.

If you are using them, did they bolt up easy or were there fitment problems like I hear about on AC Racing brand?

Do they seem like good quality? Much cheaper than some of the national brands....

Any pics of them installed on your DS?

Any info would be appreciated.

 

I have them on my Warriors and raptor.. I know it aint a DS but I like them. they have held up to lots of tires and trees. fitting them to my stock pegs just required to prestress the nerf to get the bolts to align.. I think thats by design to keep them from rattling.. I drilled a new hole in the mounting bracket and have them hitched to My IMS Race Pegs now.

 

My buddy had a pair on his yfz and they cracked where they mount to the footpegs. He got them welded but then they cracked again in another spot. I dont know if it was a poor build, or poor aluminum (or both?)

 

I have them on my Raptor and I think they are pretty good, look nice, fit great
