End Cap doesn't fit
#11
Ok, My buddy said that same thing about rotating it around to see if they line up. I laughed and told him that the End Cap has 4 holes precisely spaced apart, so I would have no idea how that would have a bearing on anything...
The more I think about it, I think Ben362 has the answer. I think that the Baffle screen might be in the way.
As far as being "Proven" end cap, I would agree with that statement. But, I don't agree with the "Spend a little more money on a good end cap"
Deisel---Do you mean the Baffle screen or the screen that's on the End Cap itself?
I think it's only the baffle screen that in the way. I would rather cut the baffle that trying to cut the stock Can.
Thanks for all your guys help. You guys jump right on these issues quick with great info.
YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

Why not just take the baffle screen out all together JUST to see if it fits. BY all means put the baffle back in on your final install. Just go purchase some fmf 4-stroke packing for like 10 bux to repack your muffler. I would not cut the stock can, because you could weaken the folded joint that holds the muffler together and end up blowing apart on a ride. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys, I will pull out the baffle, check to see if the holes line up and then trim the baffle if that, in fact, is the problem.
You guys ROCK!!! The DS ROCKS!!! So much more comfortable than my old Predator was to me. The suspension and size just fits me better.
Now that I think about it, once I put the end cap on, I tried to tap it with a hammer and whatever side I tapped, the other side came out a very little bit. So If I was paying attention and wasn't out of time before the Superbowl started, I would have put 2 and 2 together and realized that it was probably the baffle sticking out too far causing it to not go all the way down.
DUH on my part. Sometimes I just don't think straight when I have no idea what i'm doing.......HAHAHA
Ryands650x is going to jet it for me this weekend.......I will be taking notes on how to do it.

Well, I got the End Cap on. I had to trim about 1/2" off the baffle. The baffle extends past the stock can, so it had to be trimmed a little.
It's on and I didn't put in any extra packnig........Might have to do that at a later date cause it's LOUD.....I LIKE IT.
Thanks for the recommendations.
