Default is this an isolated problem?

hi,

when i went in the garage to start my 00 ds, the battery was dead. i boosted it with my car, it started right up and revved up like it should be, but when i unplug the booster cables, it hardly runs on idle and if i touch the gas it bogs real bad... is it because my battery is dead(i'll buy a new one this week) or can it be the rectifier? or any other ideas??

i'm really pissed off cause i can't go ride right now

If the battery is not fully charged, the DS will not run very well if at all.

I would replace the battery and that should cure you problems.

If you look up the PC545 battery on the manufacturers website, they list a Canadian distributor, I believe in Regina, Saskatchewan. That's where I got mine. I believe that it cost me $125.00 to get it including shipping. If you don't have any luck finding the supplier, I will look for the receipt at home with the companies name.

Sorry I don't know how to post a link. They are in Wisconson, it was $37 to ship to Canada and $92.11 Canadian for the battery.
