tachometer for ds650

Default tachometer for ds650

i was wondering how the tach for the ds hooks up and if u can use any tach or does it have to be the stock Bombardier 1

It cannot be just any tach. It has to be one made for a single cylinder motorcycle engine I think. Check Ron Woods Racing, they have them.

About $200-$300 complete (if you're quick on Ebay - like RIGHT NOW) for new digital Tach, EGT, CHT, Tach, and Speedo if you want it for $75 cable.
Make sure cables routed correctly and secured.

Default tachometer for ds650

Parker Yamaha, carries them for the Ds650. They are factor units and plug right up. $135 dollars I believe.

I USED ONE FOR A YZF600R BIKE AND IT WORK JUST FINE . U JUST NEED TO HOOKUP IT IS NOT HARD AND I HAVE ONE TO SELL FOR 50

That Sunpro looks sharp. How does it hold up in the elements? How hard was it to hook up. For the Price it looks like a steal.

I haven't rode in the rain or anything yet. But it looks like it should hold up well. Very little vibration


Red tach power to Key switch power

Green tach signal wire to black and yellow CDI box wire

White tach light wire to Tail light power wire

Black tach wire to Ground

If you need any more info please let me know.
