picked it up today. 4 hours driving and 1/2 a tank of gas and i still can't stop smiling.
everybodys busy this weekend so i won't get it out for a good run for a few days, until then laps around the house will have to do. so far i can say that i like the sound of the exhust and
it has a much nicer seat than my old bike (2003 kodiak 450). it does have a annoying engine
whine that i will have to get use to.

Yeah, I know the feeling. I get home from work sometimes and start it up just to listen
to the exhuast and I get that SH!*#T EATING GRIN for hours.
Congradulations, you'll have a blast

Hey i just got my 800XT too! I love this quad! its really just not fair to everyone who doesnt own one. I went out for about 4 hours. Like dogger9 said not even a half a tank used. I thought it might have been burned more gas, glad it doesnt. The engine does have a little whine to it but whose whining about it when your on it? The engine brake was so impressive thats what i had to get used to. i really didnt have to use my brakes that much at all. I had so much fun i start exploring with it. Trail blazing is amazing! It just goes over everything - pusing 3 inch trees down like they were dead. Going over rocks that were laid out all over in the woods was also impressive. That visco-lock really works well. I forgot to mention I was riding with a passenger. i cant wait to see how it handles single rider. This outty 800XT is just a monster. FAST, AGGRESSIVE, AND AHEAD OF ITS TIME!

the 800 is sweet. But you guys are way to fuel efficient 20 miles and 2/3rd tank was drank Its a hill climbing machine If your gonna be runnin over sticks and brush busting. get yourself some skid plates ASAP the floorboards appear to be brittle as my brother already broke one
