Default RENEGADE 800!!!!

With low range and a set of mud tires, the Renagade will go anywhere. But what onefly said, they will wear the mud a lot more. Can't wait to try one.

And some of you claim "a go anywhere quad". i would love to see it follow, or maybe even lead the way. a machine with that low of ground clearance is not a go anywhere machine.... yeah
>>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;

Ummmmm.......yeah, OK. How low ground clearance??

I like it, looks like one of the most sporty big bore 4X4's I'm have ever seen. I looking forward to reading some reviews from people after they have had some seat time on it.

Yes, the ground clearance is 12 inches. But sometimes, and it looks like in this case, it would be different in the real world, than what is says on paper. On all the pics i've seen, it looks SOOO low.. ANYWAY, i will stand firmly behind the fact that its not a go anywhere quad. Thats not what this quad is meant for. Atleast, it dosent look like it.

To make it a go anywhere type quad you would need to change the tires to some mud tires and if you do that why not just get the outlander? Its not meant to be a go anywhere quad or you wouldnt put 25in holeshots on there. there is no way it has 12in of ground clearance. I never seen an outlander with more than 10 stock. That is also what makes them handle so good.

In the real world the Renegade will prob have more GC than other ATV's because of the stiffer suspension with longer travel shocks, no sag like the Outlander. The Cat has the most GC with no one on it but will loose more of it when you sit on it.
Dealer friend thought the Renegade was set up pretty stiff when he pushed down on it, this was a early prototype so we will have to wait for the real thing to be sure. This will be a go anywere ATV especially with bigger meats but be prepared to get dirty cause those sport fenders won't keep the goo off you!
I think it will be a good trade off because of what you gain, more power, lighter weight, better suspension, more GC, and very important increased visability at the front end (what the tires are doing).

Not everyone spends the day in mud. Personally I don't care much for the clean up of myself or the quad.....makes for a huge mess. Thats just MY PREFERENCE, I realize there are guys who like the mud......just not my thing. Three foot deep mud bogs aside, I have no doubt the Renegade will go ANYWHERE.

I agree 100% with you Raidermike, I bet I don't stick my quads in the mud more than once or twice a year. Because even though I think its fun every once in while, the clean up does suck. I useually have to wash it 2 or 3 times befor I get all the mud out of the little crevises up underneth the machine. I am with you on the mud thing for sure, to each there own on that.

The fenders arent so close to the tires and looks like they're cut back some... I will be prepared to be caked by mud
