Anything can beat anything when one is in their element and the other is out. for example.. Sandbombers super fast DS.. while on the drag strip i couldn't even sniff the exhaust [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] put it in the woods and its the other way around..

Another example is hills.. where you have to let off the throttle and get back on it in spots to steer.. while i could probably hit 4th on the craptor it just wont have the power to pull it.. the advantage of the CVT on that same hill it stays in the power so you nail it and your just haulin ***. very kewl advantage in some situations.

also the (now) Can-Am Engine braking thru the CVT is unvelievably smooth and usable in compparison to the POO engine brake.

My only complaint with Can-Am is they think were made of focking gold or sompin.. cuz holy crap.. My truck didnt cost much more than the renagade or outty.

 

When is this RENEGADE800 gonna be available? I would also like some prices and how it compares to the competition?

It will be a little over 9k in the US, and nothing on the market other then maybe its older brother the outy 800 will even be worthy of a comparison. LOL

Oh no, Golly G. There is so much competition to beat. First off you have a Polaris Scrambler 500, unchanged for 12 years. And then you got a the Yamaha Wolverine 450, very underpowered. And then you got an 800 class sport 4x4. Its in a leauge of its own right now, but i guarentee you not for long. And some of you claim "a go anywhere quad". i would love to see it follow, or maybe even lead the way. a machine with that low of ground clearance is not a go anywhere machine.... yeah
