Ah, man... you definetly need an exhaust. HMF is what I run... Love it!..$230 shipped. The ODP End Cap is probably same or better performer, and $75 or $80 cheaper including jets. Get a K&N also, about $50. You'll be stoked.

Just gear it down, a 14 tooth front sprocket with those 22's and you should be able to wheelie no problem.

what is the stock front sprocket on the ds?

Stock front is 16....i had the same problem as you....you picked a bad sport quad tire. That tire is about 10 pounds heavier prob more than those stockers then you also have the extra gearng because they are larger....gear down to a 15 on the front and go up 1 or 2 on the rear and it will be CLOSE to stock but still not as good. I went to mudlites which are about 17 pounds in 22 inch if i remember right while the stockers are 12 or something and bearclaws are in the 26 pound range and noticed a fairly good difference in power...Pipe, jet, filter, sprocket change and you should be set.
