Pricing for Renegade is here!!!

FREEZER i never said BRP or WTF their name is (CAN-AM), made bad stuff. we have ski doos, DS650s down here; so yes i do know them, thank you very much. they actually make pretty good stuff, heavy(atv) but pretty good.- i never said they didnt. if you do, quote it and i'l re-tract it. im a fair man. i have 2 prob with their stuff- ATVS that is: 1 too expensive, 2. too heavy.
the comparison between them and cannondale is simple and is what first pointed 6 pages ago by gary660r. simply stated the price point is too high, reminded him of cannondale and they went under b/c not many were willing to pay that much for the bikes.
the reason i have kept on this so long is that i have read the financials, showed you facts- all docs from THE 2 companies; you all wanted proof - i gave it to you. simple as that. i do not have a fascination with them other than i dont want to see them go under b/c they price stuff too high and never gain a good share of the atv market. they make good products- never said they didnt. but if they dont sell allot of units, sorry they will fold their atv line. its just business.
by the way i do not own a 400ex, it is no where in my sig. the warrior and banshee are also gone.
but i'll tell you what out the ones i still do own, i will absolutely out handle (except the old 110), outrun any renegade tank...except through the mud or rock crawling ( i prefer to rip). i dont mud ride, so well, youll get me there.
oneday soon, you will see a light sport 4x4....
see you all on the trail one day. maybe i'll take a spin on a renegade and get hooked and just have rush out and buy one....lol...Id ride one, i wouldnt buy one. but if it was lighter and a little cheaper i wouldnt be as adamant about it but for the points already mentioned- in its current heavy, LARD@$$ state, i will not get one. you all enjoy yours, even if you think it annoys me if you buy one- hey you earned your money you can get what you want - im just trying to see why $10K on a heavy @ss ATV "sport-UTE" without racks is justifiable....enjoy, take care, whatever!

Emotional...Please....I don't even own any BRP/Can-Am products. I just like yanking your chain twenty because it's pretty easy to do!!
"the financials i quoted the other day FROM BRP AFTER THE SALE. once again FROM BRP. NOT ME> it has FISCAL YR 2005 vs FISCAL YR 2006. IT shows a LOSS for the atv segment (apparent trend). please refer to them."
If you can show me where these financials are that you so diligently studied(provide a link), then I will allow you to admit that I was right and all is forgiven. By the way check the spelling of that name on the door, I don't think it's correct either. You are not doing the LA public school system any justice!

The whole discusion on rather BRP has priced themselves out the market can be solved with one word here guys and it is a comon word in todays market place for when products are not moving as quickly as the mfg's need them to be moving. The word is REBATE . You can trust that if BRP is having trouble selling them they will rebate them, just like how they have rebates up to 500.00 on select models right now.
Oh, and you will never guess which models are not getting the $500.00 rebate to a lower price to get them moving off the lots.

There are a few lighter and cheeper 4x4 sport quads. The Wolverine and the Scrambler. Both made by big profitable co's. I won't say anything bad about them but I think the Renegade is built better. If BRP does nothing but raise the bar on this segment I will be happy. Next time I'll buy one of theirs. Dodge almost went belly up in the early 90's and today I think they are setting better than Ford and GM. Things cycle. Today the 800 is the hot ticket but that will change. I am a little supprized that the others have not come out with something better.

Wrong again twentychacacters, Honda, Harley-davidson and others wanted to buy BRP but they would not sell to a direct copmpetitor.
Why back in the early automotive days you had the dodge brothers making transmissions for FORD and Chevy and others before GM and the dodge brothers formed their own co and later sold out, but hey thats another story....
If BRP was cash-strapped, why would they care who they sell it to? if you need money, you are not going to be that picky if you have an interested party in buying your division, esp if it is "so profitable..."
the brp family cornered them and wanted it so they got it- its in the official press release i provided. thats how the deal went down, i didnt see honda run across country and try to get it, try to take them over or anything. they certainly had/have the cash too. why didnt they do it? b/c it didnt happen. Honda doesnt need BRP. they already make good products, are legendary for reliability, do well with performance, have PWC that do well and most of their atvs are priced to sell and people buy them b/c they know "it's a honda" and it's money well spent and its going to last. they own the atv market, like it or not. They are the Big Red Army. They may not always please their fans with new models but they always deliver on reliability, cost efficiency. Not to mention all their competitors ALWAYS compare things to them... wonder why....They would have loved to see BRP go under - not pay 1billion for them. they dont need them. The Harley thing- well i didnt hear about hat either, but its more likely than honda wanting to have them since harley is in neither market - atv or PWC. I'll let you have that fantasy if it helps you.
as far as the financials, how many times do i have to say it? its on the sites. you will see exactly what i excerpted from them.
i dont care about spelling here, it's not a spelling bee. some areas in LA are rough for schooling, but i did quite well, thank you. i guess where you are from you dont have things like rough schooling. everything, and everyone is perfect, all riding overpriced BRP tanks, putting down on others who are trying to tell them, "hey maybe $10k is a little too much for a 4x4 atv," and are as dense as the packed snow or mud they ride through.
unbelievable. its a good unit, but it's a overpriced unit.
the name is still on the door. have fun. see ya. take care. denny crane.

Please! If something is for sale, it's for sale. There have been oodles of companies that have went to their direct competitors. Happens all the time with banks, technology, everywhere>>>>>>>>
You STILL haven't posted a single fact to back up your assumption that the rec. division was losing money and was a drain on Bombardier inc.
You've posted company executive quotes which again, did not prove anything. You keep posting the same thing over and over again yet you don't post anything that proves your point.
Sure you posted info. on ATV sales in the year BRP only offered three models BFD, still doesn't prove anything.
