Reaper's DS has a problem and I am hoping someone else can give me some input. His bike has always had problems cutting out during acceleration, and cranks for several minutes before it will sputter to a start. After it runs a minute it starts fine. I know the carb and jets are right. I did discover that one of the spark plugs fires very bright and the other plug does not fire at all.

I think I will have to get under the tank to get to wherever the plug wires go. Any one have a similar problem?

 

Check the spark plug wires some time the connection on the in side work lose and you will get no spark.

 

it could be a bad cdi box.when i bought my DS it wouldnt start at the dealer.niether plug had a sparkand it turned out to be the cdi was bad.we replaced it and it ran great.hope it helps
