He couldnt give me the name or make of the quad so I still dont believe it as I am a YFZ owner and have not found a quad to beat me yet...I've killed Predators, banshees, 700r's, TRX450Rs....so what is this new quad for 07'??

They are investing in aftermarket parts, becuase like even us....People still have them, and want to go faster. Same reason they are investing in aftermarket parts for 4 strokes. Everyone, no matter if they ride a 4 stroke, or a 2 stroke inspire to go faster....
My bad, yesterday was your first day, today was your first post

Welcome either way

Dude are you kidding... there are so many 2 stroke parts because every other season you have to rebuild your top end... and stop talking like anyone besides BRP is making any advances in 2 stroke tech. BRP is the only company even interested in making progress in 2 strokes. Face it Yamahopper abandoned you and the whole 2 stroke community. The sacred Banshee will live with the 250R as one of the greatest bikes ever... but also as bikes that will get older and older, and less reliable, until they become antiques. Oh yea... welcome to the forum.

I should grow up? Look at the claims you make...I've been running on the same top end since 2001 so lets look at this...

1996 banshee: topend replaced in 2001:today is 2006

So roughly 5 years on each topend so far...looks pretty reliable to me...so why dont you quit misinforming people...

You either don't ride much or you don't have the 65hp you were claiming... I've seen it too many times to believe your claims. My guess is that you don't have much time on the 65hp build if you haven't been through a top end on that one yet. But at least you didn't resort to name calling this time.

I dunno man.. reliable is not the word to be used.. I replaced piston and rings every year in my cr250.. It didnt really need it but to keep it top performing ya just do that. It never broke down or left me stranded and i had tons of hours on it. Also had a 92 kx250 that was ridden to death. and never was rebuilt. If your bikes tuned right you shouldn't be blowin it up.. Look at 2 smoke boat motors. they run forever.
