The other thing I never do on ebay is enter into e-mail discussions. I don't give my e-mail address out and I always talk through the ebay "Ask seller a question" area. These scammers will not talk to you after about the initial conversation in this way. They will either ask for your e-mail address or list theirs so you will e-mail them.

Over the last few months I have got quite a collection of counterfiet cashiers checks all requesting that I keep my asking price and send the change usually about 3000 dollars to either madried or Amsterdam, this is payment to the shipper, that they happen to owe money to. I always give a false name and tell them once I recieved the check that I have decided to keep all the money. It is kind of fun scamiing the scamers. I have Checks that are made out to Benard Rubble, Dick Drizzle, Craven Moorehead and so on. I like making them go though the time and effort, it would be funny if so many people were not being hurt by these creeps.
