Default New bomb 800 in camo owner

From a Honda 450 to an OUTTY 800 now thats movin' up in the Quad world. Frist day out in the muskag and it was all i could do was to hang ooon!!!!!!!!!!! Until i could get my witts about myself. I could go places in 2WD where my Honda 450 could only go in 4WD. I could wheely at will and smoke down the trails with ease. what!! a difference in fun factor!! I can hardley wait to go out again.

It only took two good mudd holes to figure out that i need a snorkle kit. I dipped the left side of my quad into a medium deep mud hole and sucked up some water into the belt drive. I need to install a drain plug on my belt drive as well. I had some water in my air box when i got home after i checked it. Does anyone know where i can find a snorkle Kit or have directions and a parts list for one. I also need directions for a drain on my belt drive.

Any help ar direction would be welcomed

DD

Congrats on getting your bomb. What is your top speed? I've heard so many different answers on this but all were from people who had " HEARD " it from some one else. Thanks

I have 27" mudbugs for tires and I wiegh 276lbs. so according to the speedo i can do about 65 miles per hour. with the oversized tires it puts the speedo out a little. I have not used my GPS to find out for sure what top end is, but it is fast enough on the tails to make my bum pucker.

I tried to pm you but just went in circles.

Read post on nyroc bombardier forum and jps post. I was just there posting about it to him in 'water in belt' thread.

Also Aurora Wheelers Atv Forum has lots of outy info, no DS info.

AHRCSR - 68 mph, XT package adds 70 lbs, speedo reading, 26" tires with XT package.

pm means private message. I tried to pm you because I prefer not to talk about other forums on the one that I am using. Could be seen as taking riders off of the forum I am using, and that is not my intention. I read this forum every time I get on line.

I will try to pm you again. Maybe I have to add you to my buddy list first, I don't remember, I'll try it. If successful, you will see '1 private message' in the upper right, but you have to be signed in.

Edit: Yes that was it, put your name in my buddy list, then was able to write you, and you have a pm.

Thanks for the good info and your right we have a great pair of bikes. up here in northern Alberta can. they are rare and hard to come by. bomb is still very slow at getting them here. i have got one of two in town of 5500 people. There is at least 1 quad per house hold here do to that Fox Creek is a oil town and most poeple a tied to the oil company in some form. Quads are used for work and or play here.
