Does anyone know the compression specs for an 04?.......I'm going to pick one up tomorrow and want to check the compression before i fork over my money.....any help will be appreciated.

not possible to get accurate compression reacing without disabling the decompressor lever on the exhaust cam. most 4 strokes have them, it makes it easy for the starter motor to crank it and after hitting idle rpm the leer disengages to allow full comrpession.

typically though, the compression without disabling the lever is usually around 120psi.
I can't tell you what full compression is on stock motor with lever disabled, never checked it
