I bought my son a 90 2-stroke like new.
Its slow!!!!!
I removed throttle stop
NO washer to be found in pipe or at head
no restictor to be found in airbox took off little pipe on back of pipe
Help this thing wont spin the tires!!
he was climbing a hill and it just stopped and won't spin the tires or go forward and it was pinned!!!
Please any info

try going through the hole fuel system clean it absolutely throuroughly because we swapped engines and all kinds of stuff in 1 thinking it was a big problem and it ended up being dirt in the bottom of the tank

Start with the basics. Do a compression test. If that is ok then v
To make power you need flow. If you don't have any power, you need to check the flow.
First check the air filter.
Next would be the pipe. I have seen two stroke pipes so clogged up with carbon and oil they won't flow any air.

 

Did it stall on the way up the hill or was the motor still running when it came to a stop? What kind of tranny do these things have?

 

I've rebuilt three of them. DSNut has a good question. When it stopped, did the wheels stop and the motor just kind of plug, pluged along? If so, then it's one thing and one thing only. In the cvt clutch system there are 6 white rollers. They only need a couple of thousands of where before they go bad. They are very cheap. Just replace them and I'd be willing to bet that you'll be back in business. My son used to do the same thing on his BOMB 90. It was the fix every time. Since he's moved on, the quad went to a neighbor. He completely trashed it and I had to replace the shoe clutches as well as the rollers along with just about every other part on the bike. Doing hills and sand, kill the rollers. TRUST ME!

Airbox is clean
Bike has only been ridden 5 times since new by a beginner no hard stuff
motor is running on hill but bike stops no cut out it just sits like it trying to powerbrake
are these thing just this weak or are they supposed to spin the tires at least
