heys guys, in the market for a new cdi....how evil is the procom, i thought i heard alot of bad stuff about them.........what do you guys suggest???

 

Well we got off easy it just killed the rectifier which in turn killed 3 batteries trying to figure out the problem so we just broke down and bought the Vortex. Not one problem since.

 

i have one a no problems so far

 

Its expensive but the dynatek is the best Ive seen

 

I would suggest doing a search on here and see what has been said in the past. If you want to cut cost on the CDI, use the Big Gun. I have only heard of 1 or 2 issues there, but the procomm problems can keep you reading old threads for days. I would never buy one, nor would I let one of my friends....Just my .02

 

Where did you get the dynatek?

 

Ive not seen a dynatek for the DS yet.

 

I have seen one on ebay but it doesn't have a plug you have to hard wire it in. I don't know anything about it but that is what the guy said when I asked.

 

Good point. I got one for a Yam. They may not make one for the 650. Ill check and see.
