FatHolley,
I forgot about George Steel! That's too funny.
BTW, remember Legion of Doom? The one guys kid plays football at Ohio State. Crazy huh.
Toughest guy I ever saw as Mick Foley.
Kasier, do you work for Eaton too???!!!!
Full of weasels! Can you believe when I wrote a letter to HQ they said weasels was a bad term? Hell it's completely accurate!
My therapist made me feel better though. She reminded me people like that always go to hell

I love to watch the UFC myself, I watch every time on ppv. I was hoping that ken would get Tito into the later rounds Tito has no air. Tito should give ken more respect. If Tito would have not got ken into the fence ken may have done better. Tito doesnt even rank with chuck or randy or ken. Cant wait to see vandelia silvia fight in UFC he has fought in the UFC before but has improved much sense then.

Ortiz had at one time declined that fight with Shamrock due to knee injuries and a serious back problem. He's fortunate he wasn't facing anyone more capable than Ken or he would have been in trouble.
I met Matt Hughes briefly a couple of years ago right before UFC really hit the mainstream. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy. A couple of friends of mine seen Dana White in the Mandalay Bay (i think that was the casino)in Vegas. They just sorta like half waved and said they really loved the UFC and he was very cool to them. Came over and shook all their hands and asked their names and asked where they were from and stuff. Very cool guy.

Beat is the right word! I respect Gracie, but Matt Hughes was way to aggressive for Gracie to even get started. To answer your question, Gracie got his a$$ handed to him. Like I've heard alot if people say, it's a more aggresive sport then it use to be, more ground and pound.

Lots of talk on this subject. And EACH OF YOU HAVE VALID POINTS.
I personally think that Frank Shamrock would have been a better fight with Tito. Frank is bigger and has a better ground & pound game. To bad he got married to that blonde and put his nutts in a jar on top of the fridge. Ken is just too old at this point. Not that he couldn't whoop up on everyone in this forum.... He's just past his prime.
As far as Chuck L. goes, he's a master at Stand-up and is probably one of the best strikers UFC has ever scene. Problem with his ground game (if you want to call it a problem) is that when he gets to the ground, the taps come pretty freakin fast. Randy C. is still one of my favorite fighters, but I alwasy felt he was a little too heavy in his fights. Then again, he's about as big as my Cummins Dodge in the neck.
Lastly, I don't think people give Tito enough credit. Tito can throw a submission with the very best, and I believe that NO ONE has a better ground & pound. NO ONE! He's taller in the torso than he looks, which gives him some advantages, and shorter in the arms which gives him some advantages. Reach and power all in one. When he fought Randy, he was hurt, and was not at his best. This years unleashed showed Tito for what he really is. He is a stellar coach and one that believes in his guys. He works harder than just about anyone that I've ever seen and gives respect where respect is due. He's a JERK.... no doubt about it. But what we don't see is his commitment to underprivilidged kids, his work for charity etc. etc. Which is quite extensive. I believe that Tito is the future of the sport in many respects... he had a trip-up in his career and got his a$$ handed to him... no doubt. He's back and I for one wouldn't bet against him.
