I have a 2004 outlander max xt.
sometime while driving I open up the throttle and after a sec it seems to bog out a little.
the top speed was 100+ now 90-/+.
I cleaned the carb and filter and new plug. The belt is good and cleaned the tank.
Is there any thing else I could try?
thanks

the petcock is where you turn the gas on and off its called a fuel petcock and just take it off and make sure its not clogged with anything. The float is on the bottom side of the carb which lets the gas flow in the carb there should be an adjuster becuase the carb might not be getting enough fuel. Also have you tried turning the idle screw. I totally forgot to add this which is most likely the problem take the top part of the carb off and check the diapragm of the carb if it is torn or ripped them this is the problem if im not mistaken it should be like a black rubber that connect to where the needle is and there is a black plastic attached (thats how it is on my ds650) check the whole thing over and make sure it seals right when putting it back together(also make sure there aren't scratches on the black plastic part if so lube it with wd40 or something)
