Does the outerwears cover for the K&N help at all towards being water repellent.Just curious never bought one, but ordered one and a k&n for my new ds (my first aftermarket item on her) definetly wont be the last.Any info will help. Also the k&n was more expensive than i thought like 60$.But i needed it.

It helps a little but I wouldn't go wading thru no lakes with it. Rocky Mnt has the K&N for 49.99 and the outerwear is an extra 10.99. Sorry you spent a little more.

I thought about that after I posted so I figured that after. No that is not a bad price it is hard to get good deals on anything anymore it is all expensive. Good luck with all you do with the bike. And I hope you kick the 450's butt. If you don't just remember you are alot more comfortable than him and can go alot longer because of that.

I am the wife so the Predator is mine but the comfort level is not as good as the DS. I am happy with the predator but I really like the DS also. They are both hard to find after market parts for well at least not as easy as the other brands. You seem like you are a bigger kid so I would say the DS is the best choice for you. You are not gonna get smaller you are still growing so again the DS is a great choice.

I am not saying that my Predator is a slouch because it isn't but I really like both bikes alot. I don't have a lot of disposable income but if I did I would have both. They are both better than the alternative so both good choices.
