another dumb ???? do you use the stock spring washers with this kit????
the thin ones under the valve springs.... stock head.....
the directions arnt that clear....

If all they gave you was the top shim retainer, then yes, just use the stock ones. It seems to me though, and I dont know excactly, but with my kits I got some shims as well. So if that is the case, I would remove the stock ones and use them. But if it was me, and in your instance, I would make a call to whom you bought them from just to make sure. You dont want coil bind, or to loose of a spring from lack of shims. So to sum it up, I isnt much help, sorry.
