Just curious if anyone is planning on hitting Silver Lake on Labor day weekend? Im thinking of heading up for my last trip of the year. I finally tuned the nitrous system and built a wheelie bar on the gixxer quad. Its running as good as its going to get. Feels good to be able to hammer it right out of the hole, hopefully the drag area will be smooth enough to utilize the wheelie bar.

We are going Labor Day weekend. Going up Thurs. night, gonna ride all day friday and probably park the bikes after that..too crowded for this old man!

 

Id love to but ill be doing labor.

 

If i can get my outty back from the shop and talk the wife into it, I'll be there. I'd really like to see some of you speed freaks launchin off the dunes. Heck, i might just go to watch. I'd also like to get my H3 in the sand a bit too. I've never been over there in the ridding area, but i hear it's a blast.

Glad to see some can make it. Sorry you folks have to work that weekend. I had so many plans for trips this summer, but just cant seem to sqeeze them in. Silver Lake is as far as I can make it. I would still love to hit Oklahoma this fall.

I WANNA GO.. I still haven't torn down my DS to see what that clutch issue is. Gary those discs are in the mail...

I've talked to a few guys we may go but not sure for Labor Day weekend. It gets crazy there and tough to get in. If you drive 14hrs you want to ride not risk a possibility of not being able to get in. My DS ran great when it did when it was there.. I def want to go back. If not this year I will go twice next.
