When I had my DS, I was at about 55hp. I ran Honda HP4 10W-40 Semi-Synthetic motor oil. I Also ran Ron Wood Racing 60% stiffer clutch springs. The problem with the DS is that as soon as you give it ANY more horspower, even a higher flowing exhaust, the clutch starts to slip and the mineral oil burns and leaves slick deposits on the clutch. The way around that is to replace the clutch friction plates and change your oil to a semi-synthetic motor oil like HP4 that does not burn on the clutch. Full synthetic is also risky, some of it actually absorbs into the clutch pads and makes them gooey! More slipping there!

Ya know that DS is just plain hard on Clutches, cheap money now is replace the springs, with RWR/ ON Dunes/ Barnette the gasket should be OK takes about 1 to 2 housr to do it but your clutch hooks up.
