Its cool people are talking about when, where and who. Good job everyone. Lets keep it going! Polls open on Friday. If you know some one that doesnt show up that much anymore ... ahem - like JEFFINRIVERCITY, tell'em to get thier butts in here for a discussion about it. The more people that have honest input the more success next years event will be.

I like the idea of Dumont, not due to locality but due to the fact that if you aren't racing, there is a lot of good duning to be had, big dunes, small dunes, trails, heck you can even bring your dirt tires and explore some of the dirt trails I've seen while driving in. (Never actually wanted to bring dirt tires to try them out yet - but if I was spending the week there I probably would.)
There is no way anyone is doing Dumont on Labor Day weekend though. What other holidays are there within Dune season?

I think that as long as you do it when us with kids have a vacation from school that would be fine. So that we don't have to take them out of school just for us to all meet up or the significant others don't have to miss out on a good time.

I think that Pismo has a great hill for racing. It's the same hill that we just competed on for FSW. I'd be glad to go out to Pismo, however weekends will be tough to get spots. It gets PACKED! Some of us could get there on a Thursday and save a big spot....
