The largest dealer on the east coast is in Homer PA, bit of a drive but shipping to Maine probably isn't too bad.

I just got an 800 a little over a week ago and have no complaints. Just make sure your battery is connected well.

Thanks for the info, sounds like your outlander came through with loose battery connections and have other people had the same problem? I also have other concerns like the angle of the rear drive shaft, the 4 wheel drive switch, visco lock, and couple of wires that are down on the frame between the front end and the front of the engine thinking that pieces of ice or sticks mud and snow could get in there and break them off. If anyone could let me know about this sort of stuff it would be greatly appreciated,as I will be in big trouble if I buy this machine and have problems right off the get go because I want big power and a great ride thanks!

I don't think you'll have anything to worry about. I had an Outlander 330 and it went everywhere and never left me stranded, very reliable. I will be adding a skid plate.

thanks for the info, I live in Brooksville Maine between Stonington & Castine and I also had a question about the frames on these 800s supposedly breaking? they look strong enough Ijust can't imagine why they would break, is this becoming a problem if it is true and has can-am fixed the problem for the 07 model year?also wanted to know what everyone is able to get the 800 xt out the door price so that when I go to buy one I will have a number to work with. any replys to all my questions would help me alot thanks!
