Whats up about the Polaris 525 KTM Engine

They ktm 85 dirtbike seems way better than the big 4, its 20 lbs lighter than the yamaha, and the yamaha is 10lbs lighter than the rest
of course they are competetive in super moto, they have the 950! i heard that thing pumps out 150hp!

How can one engine be better than another engine of the same bore and stroke, it all depends on the carb, compression, and other mods,

Dealer support and availability is a vary big reason. I believe in NH we only have 2 KTM dealers. My dealer opened a new store and wants to carry KTM. But the dealer thats allmost 2 hrs away is fighting to try and stop him from being a dealer. It's because they control the whole southern NH and don't move on prices and most don't like them because of that, but they have no choice because no one else is around. Well so far there winning as my dealer is still fighting for it. So when you only have 2 stores in a whole state, and prices are a premium, you won't see to many KTM bikes out there. But for those that have them, they wouldn't trade them for anything.
