I was making a list of what I wanted to do to my ds 650 once my 450r gets paid off and was thinking why doesn't kms make a controller like the dobeck for the ds650 efi system...I would think it would give a good amount of power gains and would be pretty useful.

 

Umm... the DS isn't fuel injected.

Ummm I know that but if you did your hw kms makes an efi system for the ds650 which is about $2k and they also make a turbo system...I was just curious to why kms doesn't make an efi controller to go along with their efi system.

 

Okay, I'll bite.... What is an efi controller?

If you are talking about an ECU, electronic control unit, then yes the KMS EFI does have an ECU that is the brains behind there EFI.

 

the controllers like what they have for the suzuki 450 and the raptor 700)dobeck controllers also called tfi or the dynatec controllers also

On Kms systems the ecu is the controller. It is fully programmable via software a laptop computer and a serial port on the ecu box.
