Happy to share my experiences with the DS. There are alot of good guys with alot of info. on this forum, that is why I still check it out even though I am DS less. Sorry I have no experience with a Yoshi on a DS. Good Luck.

 

I just received my new AC Pro nerf bars and noticed there isn't anything to hold the rear fenders up.
Shouldn't there be some sort of bracket included?

 

I've had two sets and both came with a set of fender brackets. Aluminum that didn't hold up to much abuse so I'm looking at options to have some fabricated. Several on here have used the steel brackets for the stock heel guards conformed to their prefrences and had pretty good luck.
Sounds like AC quit including these in the package. Did you get the ones off of ebay that were scratch and dent from the dealer? That may be why you didn't get everything. I would contact them if so.

Yes I did get these on eBay and apparently they are factory seconds which need to be bent a half inch to fit properly.
For $147 I couldn't argue. I guess I will fab up something for the fenders. If anyone has a photo or more good ideas about how to support the rear fenders please let me know.

Give me a little while and I'll show you what I did. I was frustrated with the designs out there, so I adapted my own. They are Pro-armor nerfs from a 2004 YFZ 450. I'll put some pictures on photobucket and link it.

 

Let me know if that works or not.
