#1
Does anyone have any expierience with getting the RM motors modded?? I need to send an RM80 motor out for more HP, so if anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be great. I also need recommnedations on a carb and pipe for that machine.
Thanks in advance,

Hey Shmee, thanks again for the shocks!!
This RM80 is in my sons quad. I built him a little conversion mini. I belive the motor is a 2001, and it is still bone stock. Last year, he could consistantly hit 46mph in a 300 foot race on dirt. This year, he is ready for a little more. The goal is 50 - 51 with a little tire change and some porting, exhaust and carb work. I am completely illiterate when it comes to these little 2 strokes, so I need to send it to the pros.
Im clueless on where to send it.
Thanks,
Gary

Yes, it does have a power valve. This thing has 8 rear and 6 front inches of suspension, hydraulic brakes, along with the rm motor. This is more of an mxer, than a drag, but he likes to come to the races with me and participate. Last year, a few fellow racers built some custom minis like this, but made them drag only. Randy, my son, still ran right with them in the 300. I have to change the clutch plates again, because I cant keep my fat ars off of it. LOL

No question about it...send it to Eric Gorr. Had him do some work on my KX500 and wow if it didn't have too much power before it did after that.

I had Eric port my 250R cylinder.........He's a nice guy and does what he says he'll do. Nice work too! No complaints here.
There is another guy on some other forums that goes by C-Leigh Racing. According to the hardcore two-stroke guys, his work is second to none. Holla if you want his info.
