Go for a Lectron 46 or 48.... out all the single mods I have put a DS through that carb made a world of a difference. Easy to work on.. however the stock thumb throttle won't open it all the way. It's more expensive I believe than the TM but...easier to work on and not as stiff as a TM45. I had both (I had two TM45s and ditched them both, even with Hightower doing the carb spring mod) Lectron is the way to go.

Whats the difference between the lectron 46 and 48.Is it the size of the intake that needs to be ported? How much on average does a lectron 46 and 48 run normally.

Yes its the size of the carb opening... you will have to have your intake ported to whatever size your carb is. The HPR Lectron with porting, throttle and cable will run you about $700.

You can find them for cheaper if you just keep your eyes open. Someone always has one for sale.
