When will Can-Am make a side-by-side????
Does anyone know if Can-Am is considering making a side-by-side? I think it would be awesome if they make one and put their 800 motor in one. Something like a rhino with IRS and a smaller size. I heard kawie is coming out with a side-by-side that is the size of the rhino with IRS and the kawie 750 vtwin motor. And if Can-Am would do the same thing and use their 800 vtwin, talk about a monster.

the polaris DOES have an 800 twin in it.
This is just my opinion......
Yamaha is in the middle of a class-action lawsuit regarding the rhinos, and how easy they tip (duh, they are farm equipment, not dune machines). most of the manufacturers are waiting to see the end result of this, as the results could possibly shape the market, by way of new safety features, etc

Here's a video from ATV TV on the Polaris Razr 800. It starts the coverage about a 1/4 of the way into the vid:

OOOPS.......................I FOUND IT.......UGLY!!! I would like them to make a side-by-side like the polaris ranger, yamaha rhino or polaris RAZR and put the 800 vtwin motor in it along with IRS.

The sarasota is pretty much a golf cart type side by side. Last I herd BRP is happy with the sales of the MAX 2 passenger ATVs and has no plans of making a sport side by side like the rhino or the new RZR. If you want a sport side by side I think the Polaris RZR will be the best one out there. At least for now. Kawi is working on one to be anounced in june. The Kawi is said to be very Rhino like. From the pics I have seen the Kawi will be more Rhino like and less RZR.
I would say only if the RZR takes off with a fury along with the new KAWI, then and only then can I see Can-am jumping on the band wagon. I think the kawi and the RZR will sell like crazy so I would guess BRP would be 4-5 years behind the curve, because of there current possition with being content with the sales numbers of the MAX, From what I have herd they don't even have a sport side by side on the drawing board. Kawi has been developing there's for at least 4 years now, ever since the rhino took the market by storm.
