Default 720 kit advice please

Some steel sleeves worked well, some did not.

I would take Duneme's advice and do a search on this subject, as you will find different answers to this question.

This is just my opinion, but I would say it all depends on how well the steel sleeve is installed.

Good luck with your decision.

Hey Decco, welcome to the bomb site. How do you get away with riding your DS on the street with your RWR pipe. That thing is loud. I guess you wont be installing that 720 kit for a while as that rotax engine will last for ever. Save the money and come ride the dunes here in southern California. Look me up I will take you out. I have a spear quad or two. Also friends with longtravel buggies...FUN...FUN...FUN. KIWI2

As for the 720 kit, check out E bay for a stock DS cylinder you can get them as low as 50 buck, they also sell teh steel sleeved 720 kits also for 370 but you have to get a GOOD shop to install it, or the stock cylinder can be bored to a 720 and replated for 200 USD, I had a cylinder that had a steel sleeve re sleeved with an aluminum sleeve and plated by Millennium Technologies for 400USD, I have this mod and so far no problems, or you buy a 730 jug from HPR

KIWI I would nothing more than to go riding the dunes over there in th US, I'm going to do it one day.
I only ever got on the dunes over here once and I was chased by the police on a big red ATV 4x4, but what a good time it was, I seriously love the sand. So you never know I may hold you to that offer one day.

Yeah the Ron Woods pipe is loud, I just lay off the throttle if I see the police and just act sensible. motorbikes in the UK have a 96dB limit I think but there is no such limit for ATV's as far as I know, I think it all comes down to common sense policing.
