Default Desert Racing Light set up

I am looking for the best possible setup for lighting on the ds for desert racing. Right now I am running a newer stock headlight and baja lights. I would like to have a dual 8" race lights setup that could be connected and disconected easily, but nobody is making anything like that. Would adding 2 to 4 trail tech HD's work?

i am currently runnning 4 HID mr 16 lights with no problems. i ditched the stock headlight as well as the baja lights. i mounted 2 flood lights in the origional light location & mounted 2 spot lights on the hand guards. talk about lighting the night!!!!! do not wire these trough the stock switch as it will not handle it. mine lasted 1 night. when you order through tral tech, use their switch. they are waterproof & hold up very well. these lights are not cheap. a set of 4 with switches was over $600.00 but if you need to see, this is the way.

Use a relay and you can control everything from the stock switch. Just run a hot wire from the battery.

Thanks for all the ideas. I heard about those trail techs and they are supposed to be amazing and they are what the quad shop around here are recommending. I found this link of somebody who has installed a setup that I would like to do. I think this setup would work perfectly with replacing the main light with one 8" offroad hid light for distance and then replace the two baja lights with the trail techs hid. Check this out

I have a set on my Outlaw 525 very bright. The best part is that they different color bulb that cuts trough the dust better. If you are into night desert racing get the dual 8 inch you will have to fab the lower mounting brackets. You can not have enough light at 90 MPH on a moon less desert night
