I just got a 2005 DS. I put on a rs3 yosh. slip on, procom rev box.k&n with airbox still on. could any tell me what the jetting should be I havent touched the jetting its all stock? Also is there a hp gain with the airbox off? Is it worth taking off or not?
Yea the procom isn't such a great idea and depending on where you are I run a 185 with no lid on my airbox, K&N, and full exhuast so a 185 should be a good starting place.
Whats ur elevation? 185 be WAYYY rich at 2500 feet above sea level with the airbox lid on. With the yosh rs-3 and k and n filter i ran a 172.5 main with GREAT results. I now run a 190 with no airbox what so ever.

jetting ds650 2005
I live at 2200ft and ran a .175 with the RS3, OMR mods, RWR CDI, 15t front, no air box, and the thing just hauled. With that set up I could ride local, Glamis, and Dumont with no adjustments.
Careful with that Procom.
OK Thanks for all the input. I just went and bought a 180 & 185 jet I want to try and run with the lid off. I read the OMR mods but am scared to attempt them. Are they pretty easy to do?? Is there a noticable diff.? Thanks
