Rocky Mtn. Is a good place. But most anywhere that sells K&N should also sell the outerwear.

So let's have the story Camo. Did you experience an issue in the past? I, like FatHolly, have ran Outerwears for years, well since 1999 anyway, without any problems whatsoever. Five DS's and two Trailblazers, not one issue. I take care of them and they take care of me. Just takes oil to make them work as designed.

RockyMountainATV is the cheapest place to get them, still around $10 I think. Usually around $20-25 at all of your bike shops.

You shouldn't have to rejet with just a filter change. DS already come tuned from the factory on the rich side and the stock filter flows just about as well as a K&N. The advantage of the K&N is being able to re-use. If you modify the exhaust you WILL need to rejet...

True, I made the mistake of assuming that an exhaust mod was being done also. Out West here both go hand in hand and are normally done at the same time. I apologize if I led anyone astray. But having said that, go ahead and slap you an endcap or a slip on on there and then my advice will be sound. And you will be more than happy.

Never have let dirt in on my trucks or quads....dont use a prefilter either. Although i did learn the hard way by using UNI (pile of crap) let in so much dirt it looked like a sand blaster got ahold of my intake...and yes it was not ripped and it was oiled properly. It wouldnt hurt to go up a bit on the jetting if you mod your airbox a little bit but if not i would leave it stock.
