DS650 won't run

sounds like a quick fix to me.
you just put a pipe on, and it runs fine for a couple of min. untill the bike is warmed up.
since you put the new pipe on the engine needs more air flow.
1st remove your airbox lid. and see if that fixes the hesitation.
if not your going to have to jet the bike.
that should fix the hesitation and misfiring.
i think the bike not stating could be the starter cylinoid.

Go to ebay. Brand new rectifier / regulator for the DS. is only 49 bucks.
You should recharge your battery first though. Get the bike started. If it won't start your battery is fried. Get a new one. Start the quad and check the voltage coming from the stator like cynick said to do. If that checks out ok. Then get a new regulator from ebay. Put it on. Start the quad and go have fun.

That sounds like the right way to go about this. It's definitely not a jetting issue, it may still have to be rejeted but the real problem it's electrical. Thanks for the tip. Speaking of jetting, any idea what size main and pilot I should be with a new silencer and K&N filter. Do I even need to mess with it?
Thanks
Thanks

FatHolly is talking about the CDI that procom sells. And like he says, I also herd the same thing. However the rectifier by procom on ebay works great. In fact the 59 dollar one your link refers to is the exact same one I use. They also sell a standard one for 49 bucks.
