KTM???? They got too much going on with Polaris. Besides, Boomer says its Rotax, it must be a new one.

If they come in at that price, people will be all over it. That's cheaper then the KFX450. So if it's has the power and handeling there hyping, it will rule the roost. Was there any mention of reverse?

How do you know it doesn't have reverse? That's cool if you don't like having reverse. I always get a kick out of people having to get off their quad and wrench it around.

I think what Boomer is trying to say is that its a race quad. You will not need reverse on a race course. I have yet to see usefull purposes of reverse on the dunes, but perhaps in the parking lot.

Ok, everyone that has reverse on thier quad raise you hand ....

I think there are more people around who want reverse than not. I mean why not? Who wouldn't like to have it. We're talking 8 pounds. All I'm saying is that if the can-am had reverse, while maintaining a light weight, I think most people wouldn't complain.

How about we ask people to raise their hand if they would like reverse, AND the lightest quad made...

Don't get me wrong here, I think the can-am is going to be the sweetest ride on the market in a few months. I just think it would be that much sweeter with reverse. I mean think about the bragging rights you'd have!

Back to my question though, do we even know for sure if it has it or not?

I race XC and use reverse about 2-3 times a race. You get hung up, get stuck behind a traffic jam, hit a tree. So yes reverse is big and will cater to way more then those who don't. Kawi was smart, but I think the DS450 should, as this will appeal to many more potential riders. So if it's at 339lbs now, 347lbs is still the lowest.
