I have my 2005 ds x and i have the exhuast tip made by me and rejetted,k&N.And the gearing change.Very happy so far but i want more.I was wondering what would say a barnett clutch kit give me performance wise.Better take off.Right now i take of in 2nd to beat my cousins 450er.But just curious if i would get the benefit for what mods i put on.

 

Id say you'd be better off just getting some RW or Pami clutch springs, those both will handle quite a bit of power and cheaper to put in.

What do they normally run.And what should i get like 60% springs or 80% i dont understand the difference.Im new to the clutch stuff.

 

If your planning on building you motor go for the 80% other wise just do the 60% and thats all . Unless you burned up you clutchs or are starting to slip.

 

Nothing slippin just wanted to know if it would be a good upgrade for the money.

 

Its a better bag for the buck doing springs!
