Everybody on this thread has done stuff just as stupid. Just don't put yourself in bad positions. That's easy to do, and it's also easy not to do.

The grim reaper had his eye on you that night.

 

Something you might want to think about besides your wrecked ATV, your own minor injures or even thanking whatever deity you worship that local rescue crews weren't scraping your internal organs and integument from a large unmovable object.

You could have killed an innocent person or persons. All because you got tanked up, got on your ATV and went screaming down the road. They could have been killed because of you. You could have killed some innocent family on their way home. Because you were drunk.

If you wish to get all tanked up on your own property and ride ***** out on your ATV that's your business. Go down the liquor store, buy a keg, stop off at 7-11 buy 10 gallons of unleaded and gas up the Outty and make a night of it. Get blind drunk, pin the throttle, open her up to 75mph and ride through the woods naked as long as you stay on your own property and don't disturb any one else. That's your right.

If you tag a tree at 75 then you pay the price for your stupidity. No one else has to die but you since you're doing it on your own property and you aren't endangering anyone else. Just don't take an innocent person with you.

It could very well have been your son or daughter on thier way home,
that he hit.

It wasnt a smart thing to do.But still glad noone got hurt.

Stupid stuff? Sure. Just as stupid? No freaking way.

This was beyond the known limits of stupid, and embellished as well. I do not believe for a second that damage was caused by a 70mph hit.

 

I belive it could have happened, looks to me like he put the machine on its side before he hit the tree. Then the machine skipped off the tree from the front. One time I pulled my raptor over doing a 3rd gear wheelie with no grab bar, watched the quad tumble through the feild at 40+mph only damage was a bent tie rod

Driving all tanked up is not a mistake. It's not a my bad, **** happens deal. This idiot is only out the quad, but hopefully he learns a lesson. If not, he will play the game of natural selection.
