Default Outy 800 Clutch & Belt

Anybody having a problem getting the clutch covers off to change the belt? Mine has never been off and the nut inbedded in the back clutch cover is spinning. Only the top three near the hot exhaust are doing this. Any ideas on how to get them loose?

The top three are out in the open. All three turn without loosening.

I had it happen to me also. I am just going to cut them off and get a new cover and seals because mine leaked anyways. Not cheap to do either.

No, Do not cut it off! It should be a warrenty isue. It leaks because of a bad seal system on the back cover. The dealer has a service buliton on it, but they do not fix it unless the customer complains and its free. They have to take the covers and the clutch off to do the warrentied repair. Also extend your cover breather tube to the bottom of the handle bars. These 2 fixes will solve your problems.
