Do they have any Military or Golden Eagle Pass discounts on that $40 weekly fee?
Who's got good directions out of Fallon as far as exit number and exact mileage to the exit and then directions from the hiway to the dune entrance? How far is the Naval base from where we'll all be? Kinda late for some of the Q's but the forecast looks hot and we may need to hit the base for ice and supplies being as we're staying until Tuesday.
Thanks

I don't know all of your questions but it is pretty neat to see all those jets flying over head. On the way home we got an up close view of the underbelly of one of the jets when it went over they hit the afterburners it was pretty cool the kids really liked that.

Ace,
No Veteran discount that I know of.
about 20 miles past Fallon, on the left you will not miss seeing it. There is a pay phone at the entrance as well as signage. You will be disappointed when you first see it from the highway until you realize its a bit of a drive to the dunes.
I have only seen the jets, never payed attention to the Air Station location.
The Chevron station on the right as you are driving through Fallon will let you get water if you get gas there. There may be other places as well, but I do not know of them.
If you need race gas I do not know where to get it.
See you there.
Scott

See you guys tomorrow night. . . just in time to start riding! I'm thinking we may end up riding until early in the morning then sleep when it is hot with the AC on.
I've switched my tanks so, I'll have 40-gallons of gas to run the AC's to keep the place cool!
Moon will be up fairly high by about 10 or 11 pm tomorrow and about 50 minutes later each night after that. Good size moon but, it will be a late one.
If this plan doesn't work out we'll have to just drink all day, be too drunk to ride in the afternoon then end up passing out. . . sleep then wake-up with a hang-over and not feel like riding until it is too hot and end up start the drinking again. . .
